August 2026
Bodywork
The start of trying to build a body for Sidd. Alex found various parts in his store . Front wings from pre war Ford Pilot and rear wings from a Humber hearse both had the same 16″ wheels as Sidd and will join up nicely with running boards. The car now looks like ending up at 16 feet in length.
July 2026
Moving on his own !
July and another giant step was taken. Controls were fitted and the first drive under it’s own power was atempted.
April 2026
First Start
April was a momentus visit as after a lot of sweat and tears Sidd has run for the first time in many many years. The story is best told by the video.
February 2026
Top End Fitted
Quick visit up to the barn and we got the head torqued down push rods and rockers in also all tappet clearances set, plus a coat of red to smarten him up.
The rear wheel cylinders also returned from Past Parts and a battery turned up as this will be the year Sidd’s engine runs again.
